Stopped here for lunch, the satay chicken pie was delicious. The chips were cooked fresh, super fluffy and crunchy. Real adorable little cafe. Had outdoor and indoor seating. Lovely service.

We were looking for a place to have lunch after visiting several spots around Busselton and Margaret River, and came across Cowtown Cafe & Bakeshop. At first glance, we were a bit hesitant to go in, but we decided to give it a try—and we’re glad we did. There’s more dining space than it looks from the outside, with indoor seating in addition to the outdoor area. We ordered the fish and chips, fish burger, and chicken burger. All meals came with chips as standard, which was a nice touch. We finished everything—simple, straightforward meals that hit the spot. The taste was decent, though nothing extraordinary, so perhaps their specialty lies elsewhere on the menu. As someone sensitive to reused cooking oil, I personally felt a slight itch in my throat after the fish and chips, but the rest of my family had no issues and enjoyed their meals just fine. Overall, it’s a convenient and casual stop for lunch with friendly service and generous portions. Worth a visit if you're in the area!

Lovely, casual take away style bakery with the bonus of lots of tables to sit and dine at without pressure or expectation from the very friendly staff. We shared a pie, some sushi, a vanilla slice and 2 iced drinks and had change from $35 and very contented tummies. I hope we can call in again soon!

The seafood basket for two was really yummy! The size and variety were good, and it was great value at $25. The person serving us was very pleasant. We enjoyed sitting outside and looking out at the street. We would happily come back next time we are in the area!

What an amazing day we spent exploring Cowtown. We stopped at this cafe in the main street and were blown away by the friendliness of the staff and the incredible food they had for sale. The inside of the cafe was filled with early settlement memorabilia. You can sit inside around the fire place or sit outside if you want. Loved it and would definitely recommend this cafe and we will be definitely returning to visit it on our next trip.

Vanilla slice (labelled 'custard slice') above average size, comfortably above average taste and texture and below average price. That is all you really need to know, but to round things out, there is plenty of comfortable indoor and sheltered outdoor seating, the meat pies are also a good size (and reasonable variety and price). we didn't bring small children, but other families obviously saw this place as a family-friendly choice.
